During the current COVID-19 crisis that wash has never been more necessary!
In late March, with the lockdown in full swing, holidays and travel were on hold. I started doing a series of illustrations and paintings for my ‘wish we were here’ postcards every week. Taking suggestions from people for their favourite locations or places they wanted to go to.
The response was fantastic and it was a great way to learn how to paint and draw using the iPad and Adobe’s new Fresco software, which is a fabulous freehand programme designed especially for artists and designers who want to draw or paint professionally as a digital file.
These paintings can be made as large poster designs or easily scaled down in photoshop to be shared across my social media. Hopefully it brightened up a few peoples weeks before we could even think about travel again.
